Terms of Service
1. Who provides the service
Full business details: name, address, registration numbers, and contact email — the service is provided by a Polish sole proprietorship.
2. Definitions
CatholicWorld, CatholicNews, CatholicGames, account, guest, subscriber, daily puzzle, archive, leaderboard.
3. What the service is
Two products in one subscription: the newsletter Monday to Saturday, puzzles every day. The four launch games stay free forever.
4. Account
Technical requirements, how to sign up, the email code, minimum age, password responsibility, one account per person, and a ban on sharing login details.
5. Playing without an account
Guest play is allowed; progress stored in the browser can be lost; how progress transfers when you create an account.
6. Game rules and fair play
No bots or scripts; leaderboard rules — the server measures time, an unverified result is not ranked, the puzzle stays solved; nickname rules; consequences of a violation.
7. Content and intellectual property
Editions, puzzles and artwork belong to us; personal use is allowed; bulk copying of the archive and publishing solutions before the day ends are not; sharing a result without the solution is explicitly allowed.
8. Subscription and payment
$14.99/year and $1.99/month; the $7.49 promotion for the first 100 annual subscriptions; renewal at the base price, disclosed before purchase; automatic renewal; payments through EasyCart on our Stripe account; currency and taxes.
9. Right of withdrawal
The 14-day right of withdrawal, consent to start the service before that period ends and the resulting loss of that right, a model withdrawal statement, and where to send it.
10. Cancelling
Cancel any time, effective at the end of the paid period; access continues until then; expiry ends access without deleting your data.
11. Availability
The service is provided with reasonable care; technical interruptions can happen; a technical interruption never breaks your streak.
12. Corrections
How we correct a puzzle or an edition; a withdrawn puzzle never counts as a loss; a correction can restore a streak.
13. Liability
Liability on general terms, with no exclusions not permitted against a consumer; edition content is informational, not advice.
14. Complaints
support@catholicworld.eu, what a complaint should include, and a 14-day response time.
15. Changes to these terms
14 days' notice by email before a change takes effect, the right to cancel without penalty, and no retroactive effect on a period already paid for.
16. Governing law and disputes
Polish law, with a consumer keeping the mandatory protections of their own country of residence; jurisdiction pending legal review.
